Andrea Anders
Anders was originally birthed in Madison and was raised in DeForest. However, she lives with her family in Los Angeles. In 1993 she completed her graduation from DeForest Area High school in DeForest Wisconsin. Anders received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from University of Wisconsin Stevens Point in 1997. She received her Master of Fine Arts in 2001 from Rutgers University. Anders dated Matt LeBlanc from 2006 until the year 2015. They dated on the set of Joey the show that ended in a sitcom. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com) is her brother. Anders was in the theatre at the age of 2001. She understudied Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. Later, in The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Additionally, she was on stage in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress was also seen in the two New York Stage & Film Productions, Cold/Tender, and New World Rhapsody. Anders debuted on stage in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig was closed by July 1st 2007. The character she played was Jeannie the accountant. Anders had her first TV appearance on a Dannon commercial which ran throughout the 90s and 2006. Anders is most well-known because of her roles in the television series Joey (as attorney Alex Garrett) and The Class as Nicole Allen (nee Campbell) who was the ex-wife of a football player. She appeared in all episodes of both series, but they were cancelled. Anders has also made guest appearances for One Life to Live, Law & Order, The Guiding Light and Tru Calling. Anders was on HBO in three episodes in the role of Donna Degenhart as early as 2003. She then was on the show in the role of Heather in The Stepford Wives in 2004, and Brandy in Sex Drive as Brandy and as Susan on Sex Drive in 2008. Anders has also played Brandy in the film Sex Drive. Anders has appeared in two pilots for television that were unsuccessful. Spellbound was one of them, and News To Me another. Anders his most recent appearance was in Better Off Ted. This is a work-related comedy that uses one camera, scripted by Victor Fresco and broadcast on ABC.
