Her first important work was in the sci-fi television series The 100 . It was based on a novel series of the same title. She played commander Lexa who was a powerful commander for 12 clans. She has appeared in other short films, including Jigsaw Girl and The Branch as well. Her feature film debut by playing the lead character in the acclaimed found-footage movie Into the Storm . Although the film was not well received by reviewers, it was able to do extremely well on the level of commercial success.
